“What if...?” exhibition in Bern features Plants_Intelligence artists

"Plants_Intelligence" Symposium in Basel

After the RIXC Art Science Festival 2025: Plants Intelligence in Riga, the Plants_Inteligence Symposium will take place in Basel, organized by the RIXC partners, Plants_Intelligence team:Yvonne Volkart, Felipe Castelblanco, Julia Mensch and Rasa Smite. It marks the conclusion of the four-year research project "Plants_Intelligence. Learning Like a Plant", which is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and based at the Institute Art Gender Nature (IAGN) at HGK Basel.

RESONANCES OF NATURE: Workshop and Public Presentations

Another thematic perspective at this year’s RIXC Art Science Festival comes through collaboration with one of the RIXC’s longstanding partners, the Goethe-Institut Riga, which this year joins with the French Institute in Latvia and RIXC to present the Resonances of Nature project, supported by the Franco-German Cultural Fund.

German artist Adnan Softić contributes performance in collaboration with Latvian and German artists and workshop using his Klimaton Arctic, a musical instrument that transforms scientific data from the MOSAiC Arctic expedition into sound, making the climate crisis tangible through immersive listening.
